Our Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Calgary

Calgary, AB - March 19, 2020 - Arpi’s Industries is committed to the safety of our team and our greater community of customers and clients. In an effort to reduce health risks to our family of employees and extended family of customers we have adjusted our availability of services to emergency situations. If your furnace stops working we are here to support you and want to ensure a safe response.

To date, we have no COVID-19 cases among our staff and ask everyone to continue to be vigilant in our daily work to remain safe.

Our COVID-19 Safety Protocols

We continue to make changes in the workplace to limit social contact with each other and our customers. We have staggered attendance for our employees and have implemented remote work arrangements where possible.

Our technicians follow strict safety procedures to protect both themselves and the homes they visit. Part of this procedure includes screening of residential and commercial customers over  the phone prior to arrival as well as part of the hazard assessment when arriving on site. At this time, service calls are limited to emergency and high-priority only.

Commercial sites follow screening upon check-in and hazard assessments.

We have changed our phone system to allow for customer calls to be forwarded to lines outside the office for remote work options where possible and ask for your patience as we adjust to this new procedure.

Parts Counter Hours of Operation

*Updated June 15, 2020 - Our Parts Counter has resumed regular hours and is open from 8:30-Noon on Saturdays.

Our Parts Counter will be closed on Saturdays until further notice. At this time, Parts will continue to remain open during regular weekday business hours. We have put in place a new procedure to have you, our valued customers, call us upon arrival at the Parts room door. Your parts will be picked out and delivered to you at the door where payment will be processed. 

Many of you have become a part of the Arpi’s family over the years and we appreciate your concern for our employees as we navigate this difficult time. We have ensured our employees have access to financial support information and wish to share these resources with our customers. 

COVID-19 Resources for Financial Support

  • Alberta Emergency Financial Assistance

If you are facing an unexpected emergency, you can apply for emergency financial assistance. Details and application is available through this link:

  • Upcoming expiry dates for Alberta drivers’ licenses, vehicle registrations, other permits and certificates are being extended until May 15.

  • Enmax is offering customers affected by COVID-19 access to increased payment flexibility including installment plans, extending payment dates and/or suspension of collection-related activities on their ENMAX and City of Calgary municipal services. In addition, they have suspended any disconnection of electricity service for non-payment until further notice. 

  • BMO, CIBC, National Bank of Canada, RBC, Scotiabank and TD Bank are allowing mortgage payment deferrals for up to six months as part of extraordinary measures to help borrowers struggling with the financial impact of the COVID-19 health emergency.

  • Personal income Tax filing deadline extended to June 1, 2020. Payment of balances owing date extended to July 31, 2020 without penalties or interest.

  • Please continue safety protocols of hand washing, social distancing and limited contact.
